It was a fun time talking with them and hope to have them on again after they finish their next adventure. You can see some of the amazing photos from the trek at https://www.instagram.com/apellerin11/. Huge shout out to these crazy, daring women.

This week we bring to you… Movie Noight with the Boyz. This is something that we are going to do from time to time and what better way to kick it off then by watching a movie that would most likely offend most people today, Blazing Saddles. A Mel Brooks classic comedy that pokes fun at a lot of things that are still relevant today. We had a couple friends over, tied one on, had some laughs, and can’t wait to do it again.

Beer of the Week: None. We drank a lot of everything. However, we do have a promo for our friends PJ, Wildz, and Ray Ray at Bicker Bots podcast. A hilarious podcast hosted by 3 dude’s out of Texas.

This week we sat with Able Ebenezer’s distribution manager, Chris Clement. As you’ll hear, we feel Chris is one of, if not the, most interesting man in the world. Well, New Hampshire at least. OCD – 16 – Dan Hureau, The Silent Partner, The Man Behind the Curtain

This week on the podcast…

Our silent partner that we would be lost without. Dan Hureau. Dan is our residential sound guy. He’s helped with the audio set up, equipment, and knowledge of what we’re looking for. We wanted to have Dan in to tell him how far we’ve come since the idea began and give him a taste of where we’re aiming to go. Go to our YouTube channel to see how the studio has evolved in the short time we’ve been doing this. And we’re only getting started.

Beer of the Week: Frye’s Leap – Maine’s Legendary IPA – Sabago Brewing Company – Portland, ME. To be honest. We were not sure what to expect from the “Legendary IPA”, but it was a good choice. Frye’s Leap was a refreshing IPA that could easily be drank while grilling some chicken breasts pool side. A lite flavor that made drinking more than 2 possible. You can check out Frye’s Leap and more from Sabago Brewing at http://www.sebagobrewing.com

Featured Song: Cancer Generation – Call Me College. http://facebook.com/CallMeCollege He was the first artist we featured and as we begin phase 2 for our zero to 1 step, we felt it would be a great time to feature his unreleased track. https://open.spotify.com/artist/4vmvbAYQpduEHFlNDbKHwY We are fans and hope to continue working with each other in the future. http://soundcloud.com/callmecollege  Itunes — https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/notes/id1256011385… Google Play — https://play.google.com/store/music/album/College_Notes…

Also it’s very close by, and we like to support our friends there as much as they help us. Check them out at http://ableebenezer.com

Featured Song: Murky Weekend – Joshua Casper. For those that have listen, they’ve heard a couple songs from Joe. Joshua Casper was the man behind those tracks. He an accomplished producer and you can now see his tutorials on his YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/user/JoshuaCasper22  and SoundCloud at http://soundcloud.com/joshuacasper

OCD – 14 – Brandon Gavin, Down South Survival, BCK Knives

This week…

The return of our friend Brandon Gavin. Host of the YouTube channel Down South Survival and custom knife maker at BCK Knives. Brandon’s first episode appearance back in August hit 100 downloads, so we wanted to have him come back and talk about what he’s been up to since we last spoke. We talk about new projects he has coming up and set up a custom piece for the studio. This way our guest can see something and hopefully check him out on Instagram at http://instagram.com/bckknives

Beer of the Week: La Mere Marianne – Culinary Ale – Able Ebenezer Brewing Co. Merrimack, NH. Our friends over at Able, in junction with the Bedford Village Inn, in Bedford NH, create a savory ale to be paired with a special dinner. This is a limited released ale that is only available with the dinner, or at the brewery in the month of September. Once it’s gone. It’s gone. We’re glad we got to sample this beer when we could. You can go to http://ableebenezer.com to read more about their beer, and see what Billy thought at

OCD – 11 – Troy Rathke, The Return, The Journey’s Beginning.

What’s going on folks? This is Off Colored Discussions and this week on the podcast…

Troy Rathke returns to tell the story of the adventure the will shape the idea for what he is going to accomplish with his non-profit and yearly retreat of Vision Quest West: A Mission to Live. This adventure is so massive, and we don’t want to cut anything out, that it will cover multiple episodes. This is part 1. Part 2 will be next week. Part 3 and a possible 4 will be sometime in the future. It is truly awesome and we cannot express enough gratitude for being able to be the ones that get to share the story. He is inspiring and we are honored to be able to call him a friend.

The song for the week: Not Alone by Doc Todd ft. Bingx.

If you don’t know, Doc Todd is a veteran Navy Combat medic that by using hip-hop, he is trying to inspire other vets to find purpose through the creative arts. He also served with Troy, and I could not think of a better person to be featured on this episode than him. You can find Doc’s links below to his music, as well as the CNN interview. He’s been on multiple podcasts such as Vantage Point, the podcast for the Department of the US Veteran Affairs. We are honored to feature his song.

Beer of the Week: Able Ebenezer’s Victory.

We couldn’t think of a more fitting beer than Victory nor Defeat from New Hampshire’s own Able Ebenezer Brewing Co. A delicious IPA that is smooth, rich, and not bitter. If you’re in Merrimack NH, look them up and try a flight of their craft beer. Tell them you heard about it on the podcast.

OCD – 5 – Carl Soderberg

What’s going on people? In this episode we sit with Carl Soderberg. Army veteran and co-founder of Able Ebenezer of Merrimack, NH. This is one of my favorite conversations to date. There is a lot of lessons, including beer, the marketing and building of the brand that is Able. We had a great time and can’t wait to do it again.

Check them out. 31 Columbia Cir. Merrimack, NH
